Potter Puppet Pal Creator Was Homeschooled; Coin Collecting Homeschooler; Google Science Fair

In an article in the Scout Somerville, Neil Cicierega the Creator of popular YouTube series ‘Potter Puppet Pals’ stated he was homeschooled. He says his parents start homeschooling him the fourth grade. He said his parents’ “a loose curriculum…provided boundless amounts of time for him and his two siblings to explore their interests.” The full article can be read here.

Homeschooling mother of two, Vanessa Szabo, turned her coin collection into an investment. Having collected nearly every Canadian coin, this Vancouver resident is hoping that her coins will become a novelty and increase in value due to the rise of crypto-currency.

Google Science Fair is currently underway for students 13-18 (and it includes homeschoolers). Students can work individually or in a group find a problem that needs to be solved, explore a solution and share their results with the world. 179 prizes are available for winners.
