…hundreds of millions of students worldwide were suddenly displaced from their classrooms and learning at home due to the Covid-19 response. At its peak, that number reached nearly 1.3 billion children learning at home…
Her article goes on to note how there was a spike in homeschooling this year as parents disillusioned with how school districts handled the pandemic chose to continue educating their children at home. This led to homeschooling rising to 9% in the United States.
