Homeschooler Finds Success in Podcasting; Homeschooling Mother Publishes 2nd Book

Homeschooler Noah Tetzner, the host of The History of Vikings, recently stated on School of Podcasting with Dave Jackson that his podcast currently gets 10,000 downloads per episode. Noah started the podcast five months ago because he didn’t find one that was exciting. Now that he’s grown his audience, Noah is looking to monetize his podcast.

Author and homeschooling mother Heather D. Nelson published her second book in two months. Just Stop: 10 Things Everyone Should Stop Saying is a satirical, short-read collection of essays on the common pitfalls associated with the platitudes we so wildly throw around. The book is available on Amazon as both eBook and Paperback.

Homeschool families with fourth graders can get free passes to national parks. The “Every Kid in a Park” program is also recognized in many State Parks too (like New York) and allows fourth graders and their whole family entrance into national and state parks. This is a great opportunity to plan an almost-free field trip for your family. Get your free pass at everykidinapark.gov.
