Homeschooled Musicians to Perform for Homeless Men at Hope Rescue Mission Shelter
Homeschooled musicians across Berks County will perform in the first D’Addesi Concert for Hope at Hope Rescue Mission on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 5:45 PM. The concert will feature recipients of the D’Addesi Family Homeschool Scholarship Fund of the Reading Musical Foundation, which provides merit and need-sensitive music scholarships to elementary-aged homeschooled musicians in Berks County. Students will perform a Christmas concert for the men who live at Hope Rescue Mission at 5:45, with a reception leading up to the concert with hot chocolate and desserts donated by Sweet Street Desserts beginning at 5:15 PM for residents, performers and their families.
