Monroe siblings win at state track meet
Two Monroe athletes were given top honors at the first Association of Christian Educators of Louisiana (ACEL) State Track Meet, held on May 9 at East Iberville High school in St. Gabriel. Sophomore Marissa Perez and freshman Josiah Perez, both of Monroe, represented the Northeastern Louisiana Christian Homeschool Association as they won the Outstanding Female Track Athlete and Outstanding Male Track Athlete awards, respectively.
