The Southern Maine Association of Shakespearean Homeschoolers will celebrate their 25th anniversary with two encore presentations of The Comedy of Errors.
Founded in 1993 by Pastor Samuel Richards, the group’s vision is “to help students grow intellectually, socially and spiritually while learning about William Shakespeare from a Christian perspective, and to show God’s love and grace through their production of his plays.”
The non-profit organization relies on donations for all of their funding. The director, Sam Richards, is married with six children and teaches Shakespeare to homeschoolers.
Show times for The Comedy of Errors are 6:30 p.m. on June 16th and 17th at the Winthrop Performing Arts Center. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. For more information, you can visit SMASH’s website or call their box office at 207-558-5462.
