Homeschool Documentary Schoolhouse Rocked in Final Stages of Production and Other News

Schoolhouse Rocked: The Homeschool Revolution is a feature-length documentary currently in post-production. They are asking the homeschool community, and supporters of this movement, to partner with them in spreading the message that homeschooling is good for students, good for families, and good for culture by bringing Schoolhouse Rocked to theaters nationwide. You can support the post-production needs through their Kickstarter project.

Homeschooled teen Sam Moore has been volunteering at his local public library for 5 years. He helps children’s librarian Caryl Lee Ray with the library’s story time and other events. Story Time is at 10:30 on Fridays at the library and Moore says, “It is a great way for little kids and moms to get out of the house and meet friends.” He hopes to attend college in two years after completing his homeschooling.

MacKenzie Morganthal has released book two in the Mission for Freedom Series, Out of the Dark. The homeschool graduate from Greencastle, PA says the book is a continuation of the first book in the series about human trafficking. Morganthal hopes that the novel will encourage people to fight human trafficking in their communities.
