Homeschool family sacrifices for each other
Tom and Rosemarie Mangan have lived the American Dream even as they sacrifice for their children and struggle to pay the bills that, with a large family, come in batches.
Tom and Rosemarie met at Michigan State in a Bible study. He landed a job with Delta Airlines. She earned a master’s degree in social work.
Living in Johnson County, they could have chosen a comfortable path of financial ease. Instead, they decided to invest in building a family.
The first child came, then another, and another, and another. Ten in all. And Rosemarie left the work force to teach the children at home.
