Homeschoolers near Pekin, IL will want to take advantage of the etymology classes offered at the Pekin Public Library. Classes start September 10th and will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. for grades 3rd thru 12th. Classes are free of charge thanks to a grant that started the library’s homeschooling program 10 years ago.

An article in 24huers shares that only 0.01% of students in Switzerland are homeschooled. According to the Department of Public Education, that statistic has remained steady for years. Each canton has their own policies and some offer more freedom than others.
