Important progress is being made towards educational freedom in the state of Colorado. Last month, the Senate voted 18-17 in favor of SB15-045, which would allow tax credits for private school tuition, homeschool costs, or donations to private school scholarships.
The bill, introduced by Sen Kevin Lundberg (R-Berthoud), is modeled on Arizona’s successful tax credit program and has now been assigned to the Education and Finance Committee in the Colorado House. This will support the homeschooling community in Colorado, and families like the Moores.
UK parents continue to struggle to balance work and homeschooling under new lockdown.
