Homeschool Team Finishes Third at FLL Open European Championships

An Australian FLL team of homeschoolers finished third out of 120 teams from 50 countries at the Open European Championships in Denmark.

Despite being homeschooled, “they are standing up against some of the best in the world and they’re equalling or bettering them,” said Andrew Clark.

Clark, who coaches his two children on the FLL team Project Bucephalus dislikes the stereotype that homeschooled kids are odd and unsocialized.

“Our kids are getting out in the community, they are teaching other children, they are working together flawlessly and are doing exceptionally well,” he said.

Congratulations to Project Bucephalus on their fantastic showing in Denmark!
