Brazilian Supreme Court Rules Parents Need Approval to Educate at Home and More

Previously, I’d reported the Brazilian Supreme Court would rule on the legality of homeschooling in the South American country. While they did not rule it was illegal, the court did indicate that parents would need to get approval from local school districts in order to educate at home. This is a developing story and I will have more to report in the future.

Oak Meadow, a local provider of secular, progressive, experiential homeschooling curriculum for K-12, has teamed up with several Brattleboro-area organizations to make arts education more accessible to local homeschooling families. With Oak Meadow’s support, special classes for homeschoolers and/or discounts for homeschoolers are being offered by the following local organizations.
