Homeschooling is Up in Kentucky and Other News

Kentucky General Assembly’s Education Assessment and Accountability Review Subcommittee reported that homeschooling is gaining popularity in the Bluegrass State. According to the report, more than 26,500 families (or about 3.5%) are homeschooling their children. This is slightly higher than the national average of 3.3%

Rock & Roll Homeschool, Imagination Station, STEM and Art Classes

Radkey has released their latest single, “Rock & Roll Homeschool”. The three brothers from Missouri that make up the trio were homeschooled and said it’s one of the reasons they had so much time to write songs. Radkey is currently on tour in the U.S. and will start a European tour in 2019.

Homeschoolers Got Talent Competition and Museum Days

Homeschool Fair at Fort Hood and Other News

The Fort Hood Child and Youth Services School Liaison Office hosted a homeschool resource fair this past Friday for military families homeschooling their children. CYS offers assistance to homeschool parents in the military. Any families interested in homeschooling or who need assistance may contact the the School Liaison Office.
