Barnes & Noble Teacher Appreciation Days Ends Soon and Other News

Barnes & Noble is celebrating teachers and administrators nationwide with its Fall Educator Appreciation Days until October 14. Barnes & Noble will be offering additional discounts, offers, and giveaways, while supplies last to homeschool teachers too. The special discounts offered during Educator Appreciation Days are available to pre-K to grade 12 teachers and administrators enrolled in the free Barnes & Noble Educator Discount Card Program.



NCHE Homeschool Night at the Hornets takes place Friday, December 28th, 2018. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. Attendees will receive a Hornets t-shirt and the opportunity to have a free-throw on the main court following the game. Students will have the opportunity to play on one of the Hornets courts during the afternoon!

The Wild Center in Tupper Lake, NY is hosting a Homeschool Day on October 17th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Spend the day exploring The Wild Center’s exhibits and trails, engaging with hands-on activities and getting up-close with Adirondack wildlife. Cost $6 per person age 5+, Free ages 4 and under or for members.

The Albany Institute of Art and History is hosting “Animals in Art” for homeschoolers age 6-14 on November 29th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Students will tour the animal exhibitions, and complete an animal inspired art project to take home.
