Bailey Hartman has graduated high school and earned her associates in arts degree from Catawba Valley Community College.

Hartman took advantage of the Career and College Promise Scholars program that allows North Carolina high school students to attend college full-time tuition free while still in high school.

According to Bailey’s mother, Dawn Hartman, the flexibility of the CCPS program is well-suited for homeschooling families.

Bailey plans to use the 63 college credits she’s earned towards a degree in nursing.
